THINGS THAT MOVE US
a workshop exploring movement + objects
December | 2019
at KANEKO
Things that move us was tbd.’s first workshop within the MOVEMENT Series. During this interactive workshop, attendees had the opportunity to not only learn about, but also to engage with tbd.’s process of creating movement influenced by objects. Members of tbd. demonstrated choreography created in response to various props and shared how they were utilized within past performances. Through a series of guided exercises and improvisation, attendees interacted with these props + objects to explore and create their own movement.
This workshop was open to all levels and abilities. No dance background was required to participate.
