In place of an in person audition or open call class, tbd. is now accepting online applications from interested movers. Please click on the button below to fill out the form!

We review all submissions on a biweekly basis. Once reviewed, we will reach out via email to let you know about the status of your application and next steps. Applicants may be invited to join tbd. for a company led class to further determine ability.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

tbd. casts projects on a case by case basis dependent upon need. These needs vary from project to project. If we’re rehearsing an upcoming show, we may need the following:

  • understudy for a specified company member. 

  • a guest artist in the main cast of the performance

PLEASE NOTE: Details of payment will be shared upon acceptance or when individuals are offered a role.

Dancers that would be a good fit for tbd. dance collective should demonstrate the following:

  • a background and ability to learn and perform contemporary modern movement at an advanced level

  • proficiency in floor work

  • proficiency in traveling phrases that include descending and ascending

  • an ability to learn and retain choreography quickly

  • a collaborative spirit, positive attitude, and ability to work well within a group. This includes contributing and workshopping ideas within the rehearsal process.

  • strong communication skills within a fast paced creative environment

  • availability to rehearse Wednesday & Sunday evenings, 6:00pm - 9:00pm
